There are so many otherwise intelligent people who, as they age, become religious fanatics. <i>Fanatics.</i> They were sane and whatever before some even in their elderly life, and then all of a sudden, they become born-again whatevers. And it's not just Christians, either. This makes me fear for myself. Will I one day go nuts and start wearing aluminum foil hats simply because I'm old? If so, what, if anything, can be done to prevent this?
