I’ve actually been pleased with the general direction of things. In my experience, the average joe is growing to accept gay marriage. In fact, there are many people that I know that are otherwise religious conservative that feel like gay marriage is a non-issue. They probably don’t like homosexuality, and don’t want it around them, but it seems like American civil liberties is winning out in the psychological battle being waged in their heads.
